Here are a few of the more helpful commands that I have been using recently to troubleshoot some performance issues we have been having with our our stacked S4820’s.<\/p>\n

1)Show interfaces statistics:

2)Monitor interface statistics in real-time:
\n‘monitor interface tengigabitethernet 0\/40’<\/p>\n

3)Show port channel statistics:
\n‘show interface port-channel7’<\/p>\n

4)Show overview of port channel groupings:
\n‘show interface port-channel brief’<\/p>\n

5)Monitor port channel statistics in real-time:
\n‘monitor interface port-channel 12’<\/p>\n

6)Display vlan interfaces statistics:
\n‘show interface vlan 20’<\/p>\n

7)Gather data for tech support:
\n‘show tech-support’<\/p>\n

8)Display serial numbers, service tags, etc:
